ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Kentucky and Connecticut each had their final practice of the season as they prepared for the NCAA men’s basketball title game tonight near Dallas.

The Wildcats advanced with Saturday’s 74-73 win over Wisconsin after the Huskies ended Florida’s 30-game winning streak, 63-53.

The title game appears evenly matched, with both teams shooting around 45 percent for the season and outscoring their opponents by 8 ½ points.

The matchup sets up a final pitting the No. 8 Wildcats against No. 7 Connecticut, the highest combined seed total for a national championship game since seeding began in 1979.
