LL Cool J to host Academy of Country Music Awards

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — LL Cool J is adding a little twang to his latest hosting duties.

The rapper and Grammy Awards host over the past years will co-host the Academy of Country Music’s annual television special.

He will be joined by actor Chris O’Donnell.

The show “ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops” will be taped April 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

That’s the day after the ACM Awards are held. But the show won’t air until May 20.
