Bruce Jenner, the Olympic champion and estranged husband of reality TV star Kris Kardashian, is reportedly considering “shaving” away his Adam’s apple.

The 64-year-old was spotted leaving a plastic surgeon’s office this week and later told celebrity gossip website TMZ that he “just never liked” his trachea.

The procedure – known as a laryngeal shave – is done by shaving away the cartilage that makes up a man’s Adam’s apple, and is often done in patients seeking a gender-change operation.

Jenner says he initially went to the plastic surgeon seeking treatment for a large scar on his nose left by the removal of basal cell carcinoma but told TMZ that he did discuss a laryngeal shave as well.
